Well - there are just two short weeks left before we will be taking off!
We are beginning Orientation classes, so we can learn more about the history, culture, and language of Haiti before we go. (It is our goal to be informed and respectful visitors!)
We will also be talking about the Earthquake of 2010, the situation since then, and about Catholic Social Teaching in relation to Haiti and to Service Learning, in general.
And - of course - we are still in full swing of fundraising for our service projects!
